Parenting Facilitation is court-ordered process through which co-parents work to create, troubleshoot, and maintain a coordinated parenting plan for the benefit of the child or children.
Through parent education and building communication skills, parenting facilitation encourages the development and active practice of co-parenting.
A Court order appointing Kayla E. Harrington, J.D., as the Parenting Facilitator is required before any services can be rendered. The order is available below as "Order Appointing Parent Facilitator". Mrs. Harrington uses a forward looking "solution-focused" model to address child-focused parenting concerns.
Parenting Facilitation is not therapy. A list of licensed counselors can be provided upon request.
Attorney Kayla E. Harrington provides parenting facilitation session by Zoom or in-person at her office in Fort Worth.
Our office serves all counties within the State of Texas, however, for cases in counties outside of the DFW Metroplex, session will be conducted by Zoom and parties may be subject to additional travel related time and expenses for in person testimony and depositions as outlined in the PF Fee Schedule.
Please email Kayla@Harrington.Law with any additional questions.
