Amicus Attorney

Attorney Harrington is available to be appointed as an Amicus Attorney on adoption cases in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As a "friend of the court," attorney Harrington assists the court in protecting a child's best interests. Attorney Harrington will speak with the child, the prospective adoptive parents, and attempt to contact the biological parents when available to assist the Court in determining the child's best interest.

Cases are accepted in the following counties: Tarrant, Parker, Wise, Hood, Johnson, Ellis, Denton, Dallas, Collin, and Hunt.

Amicus Attorney services for adoptions are a flat fee of $1,500.00

Attorney Harrington is available to be appointed as an Amicus Attorney on contested child custody cases in Tarrant County, Texas. As a "friend of the court," attorney Harrington assists the court in protecting a child's best interests. Attorney Harrington will speak with the child, assess the child's home life in each household, review documents, and conduct additional interviews as necessary to assist the Court in determining the child's best interest.

Cases are accepted Tarrant County, Texas.

Amicus Attorney services in contested child custody cases are a flat fee of $5,000.00 per party for up to 12 months or through Final Order, whichever is sooner.
